It is an exciting time to be working at CQC and to be part of the Intelligence Unit as we further improve how we can use knowledge and information to underpin our decision making.

We are looking for people with an appetite for excellence and who want to be part of the positive difference that CQC can make. You will have the opportunity to further develop your analysis skills and experience, to help shape the way we work and the systems that we use and to help us to continually improve. But most importantly, you will be playing a part in helping to improve the lives of those people that use health and social care services in England – a sector that will affect each member of the population at some time in their lives.

Some of our analytical roles include:

Analyst Team Leader (ATL)

Leading and managing a team of analysts and senior analysts to deliver high quality analytical customer-focused advice across CQC. ATLs are involved in the review, research, development and improvement of information management processes, as well as managing projects.

With good leadership and people management skills, educated to degree level or equivalent experience, you should have excellent analytical skills with either a qualitative or quantitative background. Experience of interpreting and presenting data to a wide range of audiences is also a necessity.

Senior Analyst (SA)

Supporting the Analyst Team Leader to deliver analytical support, to further improve regulatory activity and quality of publications. Ongoing query resolution for CQC’s stakeholders and ensuring the voices of the people who receive services can enhance the work of CQC.

With a degree or equivalent in experience, excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and previous experience of working in an analytical role, you should also have experience of interpreting and presenting data sets to a wide range of audiences.
